It's zany, it's crazy - it's Zorbing in Latvia. Put yourself in a human-sized beach ball and throw yourself down a hill. You can attempt to run with the ball like a gerbil in an exercise ball or you can enjoy being thrown around by the centrifugal forces. In 1994, 2 outlandish New Zealanders, Dwane van der Sluis and Andrew Akers, gave birth to the ‘zorb’.
The device, whether an original manufactured Zorb(r) or a copy product, is used for the activity of sphereing that consists of rolling downhill inside a usually transparent, double-hulled sphere. Sounds fun eh?! :)
If that is not enough adrenaline pumping for one day, you will then get 2 runs on the 'Flying Fluge' - a fun size luge. A great laugh for the big kids amongst you - be sure to check out the videos.
