The world’s most popular board game can now be played on the streets of Riga. Over 500 million people have played at least one game of Monopoly in their lifetime but few of them have ever experienced the thrill and excitement of Riga Monopoly!
Played together with your work colleagues or friends, choose whether each of you will be a dog, top hat, iron and any of the other symbols. Then, with a budget of 200 000 euros, you will set off into Riga to see what you can find.
We provide maps of Riga, with streets and buildings given market values, based on their real current real estate valuations!
You will communicate with other members of the Riga Monopoly team and Riga Monopoly Headquarters using high-powered walkie talkies.
Just like in the real game, we use 22 streets in Riga, which are divided up into 8 different colour groups of 2-3 streets.
The aim is to own all of one colour group so that you can build your houses, apartments or hotels.
The game is played with a 3-hour time limit, with the winner crowned Monopoly Champion of Riga.
